The celebrating program of Vietnam Law Day at Duy Tan University - Da Nang city: "Students with Intellectual Property rights"

On November 10th 2020, IP Vietnam Representative office in Da Nang City and the Associated Organ Youth Union - Student Association, Faculty of Law, Duy Tan University jointly organized the talkshow titled "Students and Intellectual Property rights”.

On November 10th 2020, IP Vietnam Representative office in Da Nang City and the Associated Organ Youth Union - Student Association, Faculty of Law, Duy Tan University jointly organized the talkshow titled "Students and Intellectual Property rights”. In the talkshow, on behalf of IP Vietnam Representative office in Da Nang City, LL.M. Ngo Phuong Tra - Head of Representative Office; presenting for the Faculty of Law, Duy Tan University, LL.M. Nguyen Thi Thu Hong - Permanent Deputy-Dean and LL.M Phan Ngoc Ha - Deputy-Dean; on the side of Youth Union - Student Association, Duy Tan University, LL.M. Nguyen Thi Tuyet - Secretary of the Youth Union as well as President of the Student Association; with the participation of lecturers from the Faculty of Law and a large number of students of the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Business Administration, Duy Tan University.

Back in time to November 9th 1946, the first Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam was approved. Therefore, since 2013, November 9th has become the Vietnam Law Day, in order to honor the Constitution and raise the spirit of strictly abide by the laws among the people. Along with authorities across the country, Duy Tan University has positively responded to the Vietnam Law Day with specific and practical activities. The talkshow "Students and Intellectual Property rights" is one of the outstanding events to celebrate the Vietnam Law Day.

At the beginning, LL.M. Nguyen Thi Thu Hong - Permanent Deputy-Dean of Faculty of Law expressed her gratitude to IP Vietnam Representative Office in Da Nang City for her continued cooperation in annual propaganda on Intellectual Property (IP) at Duy Tan University. She said that propagating for students to understand, respect IP rights in learning activities and protect their own IP rights is a practical activity associated with the spirit of strictly abide by the laws of Vietnam Law Day. She also repeated, as promised in the event of the previous year, today's propaganda is not only limited to Faculty of Law but also extended to Faculty of Business Administration.

In her own statement, LL.M. Ngo Phuong Tra - Head of IP Representative Office in Da Nang City expressed her joy since IP propaganda at Duy Tan University has become an annual activity. IP Vietnam Representative Office in Da Nang City always devotes much effort to propaganda activities, especially propaganda for students - young, dynamic people who have pervasive power in society. She hopes such talkshow will give students useful information, knowledge and interest in IP field.

After speech of Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc - specialist of IP Vietnam Representative Office in Da Nang City who has been sharing overview contents of IP rights, identifying objects of IP rights, and recommending appropriate behavior with IP rights in student's life and learning; participants and students had a chance to discuss practical questions related to the topic "Students and Intellectual Property rights".
At the end of the talkshow, the parties discussed the cooperation not only in IP propaganda, but also in many other forms of activities to disseminate knowledge more about IP to all professors and students of Duy Tan University, through scientific seminars, Union-Association activities associated with professional activities./.
